Sometimes you just have to persevere with complicated deals. Many of our competitors would simply pull out when things start getting excessively delayed but we stuck by the borrower. A relatively complex semi-commercial title split, became more complex when the option to buy a few additional units came up (naturally with different vendors) and then just to really spice it up there was an issue with the bin storage - one that required HMLR's involvement. So i'm glad to say that from first getting the inquiry in November 2023, we finally completed today. Three valuation extensions and one re-inspection later! We are all thrilled and with 100% Loan to Value on semi-commercial another fantastic achievement for all involved.
